About Studio Máté
What is Studio Máté?
Studio Máté is a private AI marketing agency based in Miami, Florida that builds AI-powered growth systems for trade and construction businesses across the United States and Canada. The company offers three services — AI Avatar Agents, SEO + GEO content, and conversion-built websites — available individually or bundled as synchronized Stacks.
The thesis is simple: the craft of a trade business is safe from AI, but the front office that answers calls, books jobs, and gets the business found is being transformed. Studio Máté builds that front office as an AI workforce, so operators grow without adding headcount.
What services does Studio Máté offer?
Studio Máté offers three services. AI Avatar Agents (from $1,497/month) answer calls, chat, and texts 24/7, qualify leads, and book appointments. SEO + GEO (from $2,997/month) is a content engine that ranks in Google and gets cited inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini answers. Websites (from $997/month) are conversion-built, AI-ready sites with the build included in the monthly.
The three can also be bought together as a Stack — Front Desk, Growth, or Authority — at a lower combined price than the parts.
Who does Studio Máté work for?
Studio Máté serves trade and construction operators: HVAC contractors, roofers, solar installers, kitchen and bath firms, pool builders, window and door dealers, plumbers, electricians, custom home builders, remodelers, and 21 trade verticals in total. The sweet spot is premium operators — businesses doing roughly $1M–$5M and up who lose revenue to missed calls and slow response, not businesses looking for the cheapest possible tool.
Where is Studio Máté located, and what regions do you serve?
Studio Máté is headquartered in Miami, Florida and serves clients across the United States and Canada. All pricing is in USD for both markets. Canadian deployments include PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 compliance scoping at no additional cost.
Is Studio Máté a software tool or an agency?
Studio Máté is a done-for-you agency, not a self-serve software subscription. Off-the-shelf AI receptionist apps sell for $29–$199 per month and leave the training, integration, and tuning to you. Studio Máté builds, trains, integrates, monitors, and continuously improves the system — agent training on your services and pricing, calendar and CRM integrations, performance reporting, and strategy reviews are all part of the engagement.
How is Studio Máté different from a traditional marketing agency?
A traditional agency sells you campaigns and hands you leads; Studio Máté builds the system that captures them. The AI Avatar Agent answers every inquiry the marketing generates — day or night — books it into your calendar, and qualifies it against your criteria. Combined with the content engine and a conversion-built website, the three services operate as one synchronized system rather than disconnected vendors.
Can I try it before booking a call?
Yes. Sofia, the Studio Máté AI sales agent, is live on studio-mate.ai. She is multilingual, photo-real, crawls the web in real time, handles objections, and books discovery calls — she is the product, demonstrating itself. Ask her anything about the service, or ask her how she would benefit your specific business.
AI Avatar Agents
What is an AI Avatar Agent?
An AI Avatar Agent is a conversational AI employee with a photo-real video presence that handles your inbound phone calls, website conversations, chat, and text messages 24/7/365. It is trained specifically on your business — your services, pricing, service area, and processes — so it answers like it works for you. It qualifies leads against your criteria, books appointments directly into your calendar, and collects customer information in natural conversation instead of forms.
Who is Sofia?
Sofia is Studio Máté's own AI Avatar Agent — the live demonstration of what the company builds for clients. She works as the agency's sales agent on studio-mate.ai: multilingual, photo-real, web-aware, objection-ready, and available around the clock. When Studio Máté builds an agent for your business, it is trained on your company the way Sofia is trained on Studio Máté.
Does the AI agent answer real phone calls?
Yes. Studio Máté AI Avatar Agents handle live inbound phone calls 24 hours a day, along with website conversations, chat, and SMS. Every tier — Receptionist, Sales Rep, and Account Manager — can be connected to your phone line, because an agent that only works when someone visits your website misses the point: for trade businesses, the phone is where the revenue is.
What can the AI agent actually do?
The agent answers questions instantly in natural conversation, books appointments automatically into your calendar, qualifies leads against your criteria in real time, collects customer information with context, explains your services and pricing accurately, supports multilingual conversations, and engages every caller and visitor at every hour. Higher tiers add active selling, objection handling, upselling, proactive follow-up, win-backs, and recurring rebookings.
What are the AI Avatar Agent tiers?
There are three tiers. Receptionist ($1,497/month) answers, qualifies, books, and confirms appointments across phone, web, chat, and SMS. Sales Rep ($2,997/month) adds active selling — it handles objections, upsells, and qualifies harder. Account Manager ($4,997/month) adds proactive outbound follow-up, win-back campaigns, and recurring rebookings on top of everything below it.
The difference between tiers is the depth of training and the role the agent plays — from front desk to full account management — not whether it can pick up the phone.
Does the agent sound human? Is this just a chatbot?
It is not a chatbot or a website widget. Studio Máté agents are powered by advanced large language models with a photo-real video avatar and natural voice, trained specifically on your business. The conversational experience is designed to feel human, intelligent, and highly responsive — most first-time callers do not realize they are speaking with AI until they are told.
What languages does the agent speak?
Agents converse in English, Spanish, and French at native fluency. The Front Desk tier includes one language of your choice; Growth and Authority tiers include unlimited languages, with voice support in more than 30. For contractors in markets like Florida and Texas, answering Spanish-speaking callers natively is often worth jobs on its own.
How is the agent trained on my business?
During onboarding, Studio Máté trains the agent on your services, pricing, service area, scheduling rules, qualification criteria, and the way you want your business represented — it knows as much or as little about your company as you decide. Training depth increases by tier, and the agent's knowledge is updated as your business changes throughout the engagement.
What happens after hours or when my team can't answer?
The agent simply answers — it is the same employee at 2 PM and 2 AM. It books the appointment, qualifies the emergency, or captures the lead with full context, and your team picks it up in the morning with everything already in the calendar and CRM. Since a large share of inquiries arrive outside business hours, this is typically where clients see the fastest payback.
Can the agent hand off to a real person?
Yes. The agent escalates to your team based on rules you define — emergencies, high-value opportunities, or situations that need human judgment. Escalation paths, notifications, and handoff context are configured during onboarding, so your people enter conversations already warm rather than starting cold.
What is the video escalation feature?
When a caller would benefit from a face-to-face conversation, the agent texts an SMS link to their mobile phone; they tap it and continue the same conversation face-to-face with the video avatar on your website. It turns a phone call into a richer visual conversation — useful for walking customers through options, products, and next steps.
Can the agent book into my existing calendar and CRM?
Yes. Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 integrations are standard, and higher tiers include a full integration matrix: HubSpot, Salesforce, and the trade dispatch platforms — ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceFusion — plus Follow Up Boss and QuickBooks. The agent books, confirms, and writes structured lead context into the tools you already run.
Will the AI replace my employees?
It replaces roles, not people — specifically the roles most trade businesses never manage to staff: the 24/7 front desk, the after-hours line, the appointment coordinator, the follow-up caller. Your craftspeople, technicians, and project managers stay exactly where they are; the agent makes sure their calendar is full and no inquiry dies on hold. Nobody is printing a roof or wiring a panel with an algorithm.
What does the AI agent cost compared to hiring?
A Receptionist agent runs $1,497/month — $17,964 a year — against $55,000–$90,000 fully loaded for a part-time receptionist plus appointment coordinator. At the top end, the Authority Stack at $191,964 a year replaces a sales operation, content factory, and design team that would cost $450,000–$750,000+ in salaries. The agent also never calls in sick, never quits, and works every hour of every day.
The Cost of Missed Calls
Why do missed calls cost contractors so much?
Because speed decides who wins the job. Industry research shows 78% of customers buy from the first business to respond (MIT Lead Response Study), and responding within five minutes makes you up to 100× more likely to make contact (HBR · MIT/InsideSales). Meanwhile the average lead response time across 433 B2B companies is 47 hours (Drift Lead Response Report). Every missed call is a competitor's booked job.
How many leads come in after business hours?
Roughly 44% of B2B leads are generated outside business hours, according to 2025–26 CRM benchmark reports — and for emergency trades like plumbing, HVAC, and garage doors, after-hours is precisely when the highest-urgency, highest-value calls arrive. A business that only answers 8-to-5 is dark for nearly half its demand.
How much revenue am I actually losing?
Studio Máté publishes a free Growth Projection calculator that estimates it for your trade in about two minutes — no email required. It models your missed calls, slow callbacks, dead after-hours line, no-shows, and weak listings, then shows the monthly revenue you could recover, what it nets after the cost of fixing it, and how it compounds over three years.
How is this different from an answering service?
An answering service takes a message; a Studio Máté agent finishes the job. It answers instantly, qualifies the caller against your criteria, explains your services and pricing, books the appointment into your calendar, and writes structured context into your CRM — in the caller's language, at any hour. A message pad the next morning cannot compete with a booked slot the same night.
How is this different from a $99/month AI receptionist app?
The cheap tools are software you configure and babysit yourself; Studio Máté is a managed AI employee. The engagement includes deep training on your business, phone/calendar/CRM integrations, a photo-real avatar, monitoring, performance reporting, and continuous improvement by the team that built it. The comparison isn't tool vs. tool — it's tool vs. done-for-you workforce. The Workforce ROI calculator shows the math against both apps and human hires.
Pricing, Terms & Guarantee
How much do Studio Máté services cost?
AI Avatar Agents run $1,497 (Receptionist), $2,997 (Sales Rep), or $4,997 (Account Manager) per month. Websites run $997 (Single Site), $1,997 (Conversion), or $3,497 (Brand System) per month with the build included. SEO + GEO runs $2,997 (Content), $5,997 (Authority), or $9,997 (Category) per month. All pricing is published openly at studio-mate.ai/pricing — every tier, every fee.
What are the Stacks and what do they cost?
Stacks bundle an agent, a website, and the content engine at matching tiers, priced below the sum of the parts. Front Desk Stack is $4,497/month (Receptionist agent + Single Site + 240 articles/year). Growth Stack is $9,997/month (Sales Rep agent + Conversion Site + 520 articles/year, unlimited languages) — the most-chosen option for $1–5M operators. Authority Stack is from $15,997/month (Account Manager agent + Brand System + unlimited articles).
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
Yes — a one-time onboarding fee, published in full: it roughly equals one month of your tier for standalone products ($1,497–$4,997 for agents), and is discounted when you bundle into a Stack (Front Desk $1,497, Growth $2,997, Authority $4,997 — about 62% less than onboarding the pieces separately). Onboarding covers agent training, all integrations, configuration, the website build where applicable, and the 30-day launch sprint.
Is the monthly price all-in, or are there add-ons?
The monthly is all-in for your tier — agent, website, and/or content, plus hosting, integrations, and reporting. There are no per-conversation fees, no per-seat licensing, and no scope-creep invoices. The only items billed separately are phone-number rental ($1–3/month per number, billed to you directly) and any paid ad spend you choose to run.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. Onboarding is backed by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee: if the build isn't deployed and performing within 30 days of kickoff, the onboarding fee is fully refunded and the engagement ends cleanly.
Why a 12-month engagement instead of month-to-month?
Because the assets compound. Agent training sharpens with every conversation, content libraries build authority over months, and search rankings are earned, not rented — month-to-month churns before the system has learned your business. Billing is monthly across the 12 months, the term does not auto-renew, and continuing past month 12 is a fresh agreement you actively choose.
What if I need to exit early?
Early exit is available any time on 30 days' notice with a 50% buyout of the remaining months. No drama, no friction — Studio Máté would rather end on good terms than force a stay.
Can I start with one service and add the rest later?
Yes. Start with just an agent, just a website, or just SEO + GEO, and bundle up into a Stack when ready. Tier upgrades are prorated and lock in the next billing cycle, and bundling is cheaper than running the pieces separately on both the monthly and the onboarding. Downgrades within the 12-month term are not available; the term runs at the tier signed.
What is not included in the price?
Paid media spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads — Studio Máté sets up and manages campaigns, but the ad budget is your direct cost), your third-party software subscriptions (your CRM, calendar, phone system), phone-number rental ($1–3/month per number), and custom enterprise integrations beyond the standard matrix, which are scoped separately.
Do prices differ for Canadian clients?
No — all pricing is in USD for both US and Canadian clients. Canadian deployments include PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25 compliance scoping at no additional cost.
Where can I compare every tier side by side?
The full comparison matrix at studio-mate.ai/compare lays out every product, every tier, and every feature on one page, including which Stack each piece bundles into.
Getting Started
How does onboarding work?
Every engagement starts with the 30-day Launch Sprint. Week 1 is discovery and agent training on your business. Week 2 is integration — phone, calendar, CRM, dispatch software. Week 3 is testing and refinement. Week 4 is live deployment with monitoring. By day 30, your system is running — and the onboarding fee is covered by the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
How fast can I be live?
The standard path is live in 30 days from kickoff via the Launch Sprint. A standalone agent on a simple setup can move faster; the full three-service Stack uses the complete sprint so the agent, website, and content engine launch as one synchronized system.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your service list and pricing, your service area, your scheduling rules and calendar access, your qualification criteria (what makes a good lead for you), and access to the systems the agent should integrate with. Most of this is captured in the Week 1 discovery session — the Studio Máté team does the building.
What software does Studio Máté integrate with?
Google Calendar and Microsoft 365 are standard. The full integration matrix covers HubSpot, Salesforce, and the major trade platforms — ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceFusion — plus Follow Up Boss and QuickBooks. Custom enterprise integrations beyond the standard matrix can be scoped separately.
Do I need a new website to use an AI agent?
No. The AI Avatar Agent works as a standalone product on your existing website and phone line. That said, agents convert best on fast, well-structured sites — which is why the Stacks pair the agent with a conversion-built, AI-ready website, and why many clients start there.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. Your existing business number stays; the agent is connected to your line. The only related cost is phone-number rental at $1–3 per month per number if additional numbers are provisioned, billed to you directly.
What happens on the discovery call?
A 30-minute working session: which stack fits your business, what to build first, and how fast the first piece can be live. No slides, no pitch deck. You can book it directly — or talk to Sofia first and let her put it on the calendar.
SEO + GEO
What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)?
GEO is the practice of getting your business cited inside AI-generated answers — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews — the way SEO gets you ranked in classic search results. As more customers ask AI assistants "who's the best HVAC company near me" instead of scrolling ten blue links, being the business the AI recommends becomes the new page one.
What does the SEO + GEO service include?
A content engine built for both Google and AI answers: topic strategy, article production from 240 per year (Content tier, $2,997/month) up to unlimited (Category tier, $9,997/month), editorial review, schema and entity work, and auto-publishing. It is engineered production, not hand-cranked blogging — the same engine that runs the Studio Máté blog runs for clients.
How do you get a business cited by ChatGPT and other AI assistants?
By design, not luck: comprehensive question-answering content in the formats LLMs lift, consistent entity signals across the web, schema markup, authoritative sourcing, and volume that establishes topical authority. The Studio Máté engine builds all of it systematically — the goal is being both the highest-ranked page on Google and the source the AI quotes, at the same time.
How many articles do I get?
The Content tier produces 20 articles per month (240/year) in a single industry with one author voice. The Growth Stack level runs 43 per month (520/year) across your full topic universe with three author voices. The Category tier is unlimited, including multi-site and multi-brand topic engines.
Won't Google penalize AI-generated content?
Google's guidance targets low-quality content, not AI-assisted production — what gets penalized is thin, unhelpful pages regardless of who typed them. The Studio Máté engine pairs scaled production with topic strategy, editorial review, original structure, and genuine subject expertise, which is why volume and quality can coexist. The proof is the engine's own results on studio-mate.ai.
How long until SEO + GEO shows results?
Search authority compounds over months, not days — that is precisely why the engagement is 12 months. Early citations and long-tail rankings typically appear first, with compounding gains as the library and entity authority build. Anyone promising page-one rankings in two weeks is selling something else.
Websites
What does the website service include?
A conversion-built, AI-ready website with the build included in the monthly — no $5,000–$12,000 upfront project fee. Tiers: Single Site ($997/month), Conversion Site ($1,997/month, brand-grade design with full SEO + GEO structure, schema, and entity work), and Brand System ($3,497/month, full website plus brand identity and design system). At an $8,500 average trades ticket, roughly one extra booked job a month covers it.
What makes a website “AI-ready“?
It is built to host a live AI Avatar Agent natively, structured so search engines and AI assistants can parse it (clean schema, entity markup, answer-first content), and engineered to convert the traffic that lands — fast, mobile-first, and designed around booking, not brochureware.
Will I lose my existing SEO if you rebuild my site?
No — rebuilds are engineered to preserve existing rankings: URL mapping, redirects, and on-page equity carry over as part of the build. The site is rebuilt to convert today and rank in both Google and AI answers tomorrow, without sacrificing what you have already earned.
Can I keep my current website and just add the agent?
Yes. The AI Avatar Agent is available standalone and deploys on your existing site and phone line. The website service exists for operators whose current site is costing them conversions — it is an upgrade path, not a requirement.
Industries & Fit
Which industries does Studio Máté serve?
Twenty-one trade and construction verticals across four categories. Featured: HVAC, roofing, solar, kitchen & bath design, pool & spa builders, window & door dealers. Home services: plumbing, electrical, pest control, garage door, generator dealers. Specialty: fence & gate, awnings & shade, tile & flooring, custom millwork & cabinets, painting. Construction: custom home builders, remodeling, landscape design & hardscaping, smart home integrators, foundation & structural repair.
Is this built for HVAC companies?
Yes — HVAC is a featured launch vertical. The agent is trained on the HVAC reality: after-hours no-cool emergencies, dispatch overflow, maintenance contract renewals, and seasonal spikes. It answers the 11 PM emergency call, qualifies it, books it, and has it in your dispatch software before your competitor's voicemail picks up.
I run a small operation. Is Studio Máté for me?
Studio Máté is built for premium operators, typically $1M–$5M and up, who lose real revenue to missed calls and slow response. If you are a solo operator looking for the cheapest possible tool, a $99 app may serve you better for now; if missed inquiries are costing you booked jobs, the Growth Projection calculator will show you in two minutes whether the math works at your volume.
My trade isn't on the list. Can you still help?
The 21 trade verticals are the deepest playbooks, but the underlying system — answer everything, qualify, book, follow up — applies to any appointment-driven service business, and additional verticals are expanding. Ask Sofia or book a discovery call, and the team will tell you honestly whether your business is a fit today.
Does Studio Máté work in Canada?
Yes — Studio Máté serves premium operators across the United States and Canada, with USD invoicing for both markets and PIPEDA plus Quebec Law 25 compliance scoping included at no additional cost for Canadian deployments. Multilingual agents (English, Spanish, French at native fluency) are a natural fit for Canadian markets.
Contact & Next Steps
How do I contact Studio Máté?
Email hello@studio-mate.ai, call +1 (888) 711-2902, or book a 30-minute discovery call directly. Fastest of all: talk to Sofia on the website — she answers instantly, at any hour, and can book the call for you.
What should I do first?
Two minutes with the Growth Projection calculator shows what missed calls and slow response are costing your specific trade — no email required. If the number is bigger than a stack costs, the discovery call is the obvious next step.
Where can I verify the statistics Studio Máté cites?
Every statistic used across studio-mate.ai — lead response research, after-hours lead share, first-responder win rates — is documented with its source on the Sources page. Published claims, published sources.
